About Collins Construction

The Collins Construction team is led by Dawn Morgan, who was raised in Savannah and attended local schools. For more than twenty years, she has led by example as an excellent communicator who wants her customers to be proud of their finished project. She has assembled a team with vast experience - consummate professionals who take great care in every detail of every project.

It’s no coincidence that most of the Collins team are proud U.S. veterans, having served our country in various branches of the military before working in construction. But our entire team – veterans and non-veterans – approach each project with personal pride and careful planning to finish on time and within budget. This team has been entrusted with some of Savannah’s beautiful historic buildings, many school structures, and high-profile projects such as the Tom Coleman Courthouse renovation and Chatham County Detention Center.

In recent years, our focus has turned to building, renovating, and updating facilities on U.S. military installations, a job we consider to be a great privilege and an important responsibility. Our knowledge and experience with military construction projects means we understand the intricacies of working on occupied military installations from start to finish – and we handle each step with one goal in mind: that the finished product will be worthy of our men and women in uniform.
